What is holistic coaching?
If you have reached a point where you feel something needs to change but you are less clear about exactly what or how, then holistic coaching can help. Coaching sessions allow you to pause your life for a short time, take a step back and look at what is really going on.
Holistic coaching takes whatever you present as the issue, for example, you want to change career, and explores that in the context of your life – do you really want to change career or do you just want a better life balance at the job you’re in? All parts of our lives are connected, so if we want meaningful, sustainable change we have to look at those connections – that way, we avoid putting our efforts in the wrong place.
How will coaching help me?
Confidence
The biggest benefit my clients report is an increase in confidence and self-esteem. You learn techniques to help protect you from negative self-talk that can be a barrier to what you want to achieve.
Achieving
If you have something you want to achieve but have put it off, coaching can help get you there. Having someone hold you accountable for doing the things you say you will can be invaluable.
Non-Judgmental
There is something very therapeutic about being honest with what you are thinking and feeling in a way we often can’t with our partner, friends or colleagues as they are invested in our lives and work.
Improved Perspective
You will learn how to see your own thoughts and life from different perspectives, but you will also learn how to see the perspectives of others. Coaching helps you cultivate curiosity and gives you the space to reflect on what you learn.

Meet the Kate, in EduKate
My name is Kate Collins, a qualified teacher and professional coach. I founded EduKate because I could see how much value my students gained personally from learning more about themselves and others. They became more tolerant, resilient and accepting, which is what I now strive for in adult organisations.
My Psychology and teaching degrees make me ideally placed to write and deliver training that is not only engaging, but will also embed learning in ways that create meaningful change in people.
